
Two people died in the collision near Killucan yesterday.
Air Accident Investigators are back at the scene of a helicopter crash which killed two men in Westmeath.
Two men in their 40s died in the collision near Killucan at around 3.20pm yesterday afternoon.
One of the men was an Irish national, while the second is understood to be from eastern Europe.
The AAIU is set to continue the recovery process this morning, with the wreckage to be examined at a facility in Gormanstown in Meath.
Graham Liddy is a former Head of Engineering with the AAIU, and says investigating crashes with small aircraft can be more difficult.

Following the collision, a temporary airspace restriction has been put in place around Joristown Upper, which will in effect until 9pm this Friday.
It will impact the flying of aircraft, rockets & Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
