Irish Rural Link believes the Just Transition Fund needs a re-launching, with a renewed focus on enriching the midlands counties.
€18 million was announced last week, which benefitted 15 projects across the EU JT region.
However, there's been some concerns with the amount of funding Offaly received, after it was allocated just three percent of the total fund.
