Lack of Farming Support May Be Sinn Féin's Electoral Weakness

Recent Opinion Poll shows the decline of Sinn Féin.

A lack of farming support could be a worry for Sinn Féin in trying to establish a majority in the Dáil.

That's the view of Political Analyst, Laois' Adrian Kavanagh, as a the latest opinion poll shows a decline for the main opposition party, bringing them to 23 percent support.

The Irish Times and Ipsos Behaviours and Attitudes poll shows Fine Gael jumped by four points to 23 percent, while Fianna Fáil remained steady at 20 percent.
