Laois Candidate Defends Taoiseach Following Exchange With Carer

He is describing Simon Harris as "approachable".

The Fine Gael general election candidate in Laois is defending the Taoiseach following a controversial exchange with a carer over the weekend.

Simon Harris was filmed walking away from a disability worker who was trying to raise concerns about the sector, and has since apologised. 

Councillor Willie Aird is running for a Dáil seat in Laois, with his priorities including farming, special needs education and law and order.
