Laois County Council Wants Schools To Display Cold Snap "Resilience" In Future

The local authority in Laois is meeting today to review their operations over the cold snap.

Laois County Council is calling on schools to look at their own "resilience" when it comes to dealing with freezing temperatures in future.

The local authority in the county is reviewing its response to the freezing conditions earlier this month in a meeting today. 

Workers spent close to 100 hours treating and clearing key routes around the county over the cold snap.
