An original target of €2,000 had been set.
A Laois family's fundraiser for cancer research has nearly doubled its goal.
Mountrath's Lisa Lalor, her dad Philip and her auntie Margaret will jump out of a plane this summer to raise money and awareness for the Oesophageal cancer Fund.
Philip was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer 9 years ago, but has since made a full recovery from the illness in 2015.
With a date set for June 15th, the family had originally aimed for €2,000, but the current funds sit at just under €4,000.
Anyone who wishes to make a donation can do so here.
