Recovery efforts continue in Myanmar after a man has been pulled out alive from the rubble of a hotel five days after a earthquake

The 7.7 magnitude earthquake happened on Friday with the death toll expected to go over 3,000 people.

Tremors were so powerful they were felt almost one thousand kilometers away in the Thai capital of Bangkok.

Laois's James Conroy has been living in the city for a decade and lives on the 28th floor of a 34 floor condo.
