Laois Mental Health Service Will Struggle Without Sustainable Mainstream Funding

They say when recent funding runs out, they will be forced to leave people on waiting lists until more funding can be attained.

A Laois mental health support service says it will struggle without sustainable, mainstream funding.

Mountmellick Youth and Family Resource Centre is set to receive €10,000 in funding from the Dormant Account fund.

While it welcomes the additional funding, the service says when it runs out it will once again have to leave people on waiting lists until more funding is obtained.
