Laois Only County In Ireland Not To Record Road Death This Year

The death toll on Irish roads is now at 100.

Laois is the only county in Ireland without a road death this year.

The death toll on Irish roads hit 100 after a motorist lost her life in Waterford yesterday.

The figure is 13 higher than the same period last year.

Three people have died on the road in both Offaly and Westmeath.

Two of those in Westmeath occurred within 4 days of each other in Castlepollard.
