Laois Only County With No Road Deaths In 2024

The highest numbers so far this year have been in Dublin and Cork.

Laois is the only county in the country without a road fatality so far this year.

New figures from the Road Safety Authority show there have been three deaths on the roads in both Offaly and Westmeath, respectively.

Dublin and Cork have seen the largest number of road fatalities in the country, at 14, followed by 13 in Mayo.

The figures come as a road safety campaign is launched ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend.
