Three Primary Care Centres in Laois are unfit for purpose for both patients and staff.
That's according to Independent Councillor James Kelly.
Who is comparing the centres in Mountrath, Borris in Ossory and Rathdowney to small bungalows.
A previous application for a modular unit for the facility in Mountrath was denied, while a site has been located along the Portlaoise Road for a new development, but there has been no recent progress on this.
The Borris in Ossory/Mountmellick rep says at the very least the current buildings need to be upgraded:
