Laois Sees Highest House Price Increase In Midlands

House prices increased nationally by 5 per cent.

House prices in Laois have seen the largest increase in the Midlands region at over 3.7%. 

The average price of a 3-bed semi detached in Laois will set you back €280,000.

In Westmeath, homebuyers are looking at a cost of €320,000  at a rise of 1.6%. 

House prices in Offaly have seen no increase or decrease in the region, bringing the median in the county to €260,000 which is the lowest price in the midlands.

A new report from Irish Independent REA found house prices nationally increased by 5% in December of this year.
