A Laois town has the highest level of CCTV per population in the country.
There are just over 4,000 residents in Mountmellick, with a camera for approximately every 90 people, according to the Irish Independent.
There's between 30 and 40 community cameras in the town.
That's in comparison to 44 in the north-east inner-city of Dublin, which has a population of well over 50,000.
