A man who died in a Westmeath crash yesterday was on his way to the airport to return to the US.
Joe Marroquin was visiting family in Whitehall with his wife when the two-vehicle collision occurred on the Castlepollard to Mullingar road yesterday morning.
His wife, a woman in her 60s, is in a critical condition in Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore.
