Donal Lawlor spent a total of 71 days in Mullingar Regional Hospital, after contracting the virus in March.

His wife Aileen says he's a miracle, after spending 32 days unconscious, on a ventilator in ICU.
She says it was a very tough time, but she wrote him a letter everyday, which the nurses read to him.
