The National Retained Firefighters Association want short-staffing issues addressed.
Firefighters in the midlands are so short-staffed they're considering strike action.
That's according to Sinn Féin who say they received correspondence from the National Retained Firefighters Association.
The group say short-staffing is a massive issue and that up to sixty per cent of their members intend to retire or quit the service in the near future.
