The hospital is warning patients it's very busy today.
A midlands hospital is seeing an increase in the number of patients attending with Covid-19, and the flu.
Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore also says it's experiencing increasing levels of people presenting with other respiratory illnesses, and it's currently very busy.
Additional beds have been opened to deal with the extra demand.
Patients are being asked to consider their options before attending the hospital, and management say those who present to the emergency department with non-urgent conditions could be waiting a long period to be seen.
