The Sinn Féin Senator is expressing her concern for SOSAD.
A Laois Senator is sounding the warning alarm over the future of a mental health charity in the county.
Maria McCormack believes SOSAD, which has a branch in Portlaoise, will run out of funds if HSE support doesn't come through soon.
The charity has already had to suspend it's text message service.
SOSAD Portlaoise estimate they're seeing 59% clients on a weekly basis when compared to last year.
