A midlands school is celebrating mental health and well-being week.
An Grianán N.S. in Mount Temple have decided to take part in the Amber Flag Initiative for the first time.
As part of the initiative, the school plans to hold a fundraising event for Pieta House, raise awareness of mental health strategies through the creative-arts, art, music and drama, promote staff wellbeing and to explore wellbeing through picture books, novels and circle time.
The school also has 'Wellbeing Warriors' from each class from 1st-6th class who work together to promote positive mental health in the school.
