Just under €2m is being made available for schools in Laois, Offaly, and Westmeath.
€1.8m will be made available to repair midlands schools.
Schools will have the choice to use this funding for maintenance and small-scale improvements to buildings and grounds.
The funds, which have been allocated based on pupil population, may also be used for the improvement or replacement of mechanical and electrical services, the purchase of standard furniture and P.E. equipment.
Laois and Offaly are in line to receive €600,000 each while Westmeath will have €700,000 to dispense to its schools.
