Plans for the new school building were re-instated yesterday.
Parents and staff at a midlands special school are 'cautiously optimistic' about plans for a new building being re-instated.
The Department of Education confirmed the new Kolbe Special School building, and 57 other projects, will be rolled-out, following a delay last month due to capital funding pressures.
It's expected the new building will be operational within 18 months.
Niamh Ryan's son Liam is a student at Kolbe - she says while the news is welcome, they'll wait for a start date before celebrating:
