65,000 teenagers across the country will collect their results today.
Nearly 65-thousand Junior Cert students will receive their exam results later this morning.
Students in the midlands are being encouraged not to stress and to celebrate appropriately over the weekend.
They are recieving their results three weeks later than usual - that's down to an extended period allowed for Leaving Cert appeals this year.
Vice principal at Athlone Community College, Chris Forde, says while the exams are a significant part of their school life, there's no need to worry over the results:
Junior Cert students are being urged to have fun, but stay safe tonight - as celebrations get underway.
Gardaí say they're adopting a zero tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour from those celebrating over the weekend.
