Midlands TD Wants NAMA Questions Answered

The Laois Offaly TD will chair the Public Accounts Committee's investigation in to a particular transaction.

The National Asset Management Agency will face questions from the Public Accounts Committee this week.

It's after NAMA sold loans with an original value of over €10m to a relative of the debtor at a 97% discount.

They were ultimately sold for €260,000, which resulted in the Agency losing €6m.

It will appear before the Public Accounts Committee on Thursday morning and PAC Chair and Laois Offaly Sinn Féin TD Brian Stanley says he wants answers:
