The first National Vegetable Society Irish Championships will be held in the midlands this weekend.
Moate Agricultural Show has been chosen as the venue for the inaugural event in Ireland.
The event will also have livestock, horses, sheep classes along with competitions for children in handwriting, Lego making and poetry.
It first began in 1839 and will be held again this Sunday.
