More Than 600 Drivers Caught Speeding On National Slow Down Day

The operation ran for 24 hours.

Almost 690 drivers were caught speeding on National Slow Down Day.

The operation began at 7am yesterday and ran for 24 hours.

Examples include a driver travelling at 151km/h in a 100km/h zone on the N4  Clongawny Mullingar.

Another motorist was caught speeding  112km/h in a 80km/h zone on the R430 Drumagh Crettyyard Laois.
