There are over 6,000 Ukrainians being accommodated in the midlands.
The figures from the CSO show the highest proportion of those are in Westmeath, where there are more than 2,800 people fleeing the war in Ukraine.
Offaly accounts for just over 1,800 of the total figure, while there are 1,500 Ukrainians in Laois.
The figures show there are over 100,000 Ukrainians who have received PPSNs across the country, and more than 100 have arrived here in the last week.
