600 high-tech, low-cost devices are being launched around the country.
Over 600 smart ring buoys are being installed across the country, in a bid to stop people from stealing or tampering with the life-saving devices.
The high-tech, low-cost devices are being launched by Dublin City Council but will also be available in Meath, Laois, Sligo and Limerick.
