The Mullingar singer says he'd love to tap into the genre.
Niall Horan says he'd love to "lean into 70s rock" in his music.
Answering questions on iHeartRadio's Ask Anything Chat, the Mullingar singer admits he feels "intimidated" by the genre but really wanted to "tap into it".
He also confessed he sings in a 70s rock style while drunk or doing karaoke.
The former One Director star recently performed at the White House for St Patrick's Day, and is due to release his next ablum, 'The Show' this summer.
