It will officially be a two horse race.
It's officially going to be a two horse race for the Green Party leadership.
Nominations closed at 9pm last night, with Offaly Junior Minister Pippa Hackett and Children's Minister Roderic O'Gorman vying for the position.
Minister Hackett said one of her priorities is to make the Greens relevant in the midlands again, after the party lost all three of its seats in the region in the 2024 Local Elections.
The election to appoint Eamon Ryan's successor will take place on July 8th.
