The CSO has released the latest Live Register figures.
The number of unemployed in the midlands has dropped by over a thousand since this time last year.
The lastest Live Register figures from the Central Statistics Office show 13, 759 people were jobless in last month.
That's made up of almost 7,700 men and just over 6,000 females.
Nationally, nearly 178,000 people were registered unemployed last month - a fall of almost 3,000 on 2018.
