ODVSS Welcomes Custodial Sentence In Coco's Law Case

A 37 year old Dublin man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison.

An Offaly domestic violence support centre is welcoming an increase of cases being pursued under Coco's Law.

It follows the sentencing of 37 year old Craig Coyle from Holly Court, Ballybrack, County Dublin to 18 months in prison for publishing intimate images of his ex-girlfriend online.

Coco’s Law' was enacted in 2021 and it makes taking and sharing intimate images online illegal.
