An Offaly councillor says zebra crossings need to be moved away from roundabouts in Edenderry, before a pedestrian is killed.
It comes after a truck struck a woman, aged in her 30s, on the Carrick Road two weeks ago.
The woman sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
