An Offaly family has lost nearly €2,000 to scammers imitating Aer Lingus booking staff.
The fraudsters informed the family their upcoming flight couldn't be guaranteed as a result of the ongoing dispute with IALPA.
They were told to follow a number of steps to cancel the flight, which resulted in their bank account being cleared of €1,800.
