Units attended the scene yesterday evening.
There's been no significant damage done to an Offaly hospital after a fire yesterday.
Units from Tullamore and Clara fire stations attended Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore after a fire alarm activation at around 5.50pm.
The incident occurred after electrical equipment malfunctioned in a coms room, causing smoke to extend to the corridors.
The HSE says eight patients were evacuated for a short time, in line with the fire safety policies, but no injuries were reported.
The fire service used positive pressure ventilation fans to remove smoke and make the area safe.
