An Offaly man travelling to Ukraine to help with the humanitarian effort is willing to stay as long as he can, in the hope of creating a transparent link between Irish donors and locals.
Cloghan's Sean Dolan and Olivia Feehan have raised over €10,000 in less than a fortnight though a GoFundMe page.
Their initial plan is to take a mini-bus of supplies to within 30 kilometres of the Ukrainian border with Poland.
