The average price of a house in Laois comes to €280,000, the highest rise in the midlands of just under 4%.
A house in Westmeath is the most expensive in the region at €320,000, up 1.6% since September 2024.
Offaly saw no change in the cost in the final quarter of last year, remaining at €260,000.
The REA report shows the highest increase nationally to be in Clare at over 7%.
While the most expensive three bed semi detached home in Ireland is in Dublin at over €540,000 on average.
