She wants to set up community groups around the county.
'Hidden poverty' and social deprivation are a crucial issue for residents in Offaly.
That's according to Deirdre Dillon, Local Election Candidate in Tullamore, who claims there are nurses and defense forces workers who have to choose between paying their bills and feeding their children.
She says people can set up community groups so others can get involved and call if they are in trouble or need help.
