Colaiste Cholm in Tullamore is the other Offaly school who will represent Ireland in the VEX World Robotics Championships this May.
The team of eleven students was overseen by teacher Joe Molloy - and won their ticket to America by winning the Design Award at the National Championships.
A family team from Tullamore also tasted success in the primary school category - as brothers Bruce and Matthew Berry from the "School of Bots" won the Energy Award.
