Tullamore Students created a solution to solve environmental issues.
Young environmentalists from Offaly have won the top prize at the 25th annual ECO-UNESCO.
Students from Tullamore College came first in the senior biodiversity category at this year’s Young Environmentalist Awards 2024.
The awards took place at the Royal Convention Centre, Dublin, on Wednesday.
They promoted biodiversity on their school grounds by growing various flora that enabled the ecosystem to thrive.
The awards recognise the work of young people taking environmental action in their school or community and coming up with creative solutions to solve environmental issues.
