Offaly Woman Departs From Role Of EU Ombudsman

The work of Offaly woman Emily O'Reilly is being celebrated in the European Parliament as she departs from her role as EU Ombudsman.

The Tullamore woman has worked in the role for the past 11 years and is widely praised for "holding EU institutions to account."
