Over 1/4 Drop In Demand For EV's In Midlands

180 less vehicles have been registered so far this year.

Demand for EVs in the midlands has dropped by over a quarter.

456 electric vehicles have been registered in the region so far this year, 180 less than the same period last year.

New figures from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry show both Offaly and Westmeath saw reductions of over 30 percent, while the drop in Laois is 22 percent.
