The highest figure in the region was in Westmeath
Over 200 people received notices to quit in the midlands in the first quarter of the year.
New data from the Residential Tenancies Board's Q1 report shows that's an increase of just over one percent on the final quarter of 2023.
117 residents in Westmeath were issued a notice to quit in the first three months of the year, while that figure is 51 in Laois and 45 in Offaly.
Nationally, just over 4,800 NoTs were issued during the same period, with most common reason being the landlord intends to sell the property.
