Over €4m has been spent on the Vacant Property Grant.
The Leader of Aontú says it will take over 3,000 years for the Government to bring every vacant home back into use.
The State has spent €4.3m on the Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant since its introduction in July of last year.
Meath West TD Peadar Toibín claims that works out at about a quarter of a million euro every month, which equates to five or six houses every 30 days.
He says the figures are a damning indictment of the Government's slow rate of delivery:
