Over 530 People On Trolleys Today

The IMO says we're lagging behind other European countries when it comes to beds.

532 people are waiting on trolleys in hospitals today, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

14 people have been waiting for a bed in the midlands hospitals today - nine of those are in Mullingar, with the remaining five in Portlaoise.

The INMO says the busiest facility in the country is Cork University Hospital, followed by University Hospital Limerick.
