Drugs, alcohol and counterfeit goods were among the items found by Revenue.
€332,000 worth of contraband seized in the midlands, Dublin and Rosslare.
In the last week, Revenue officers have uncovered over 11kg of cannabis, other illicit drugs worth approximately €1,000 and €79,000 in counterfeit goods.
The drugs originated in a number of countries, including the United Kingdom, Canada and Thailand, and were destined for addresses nationwide.
Investigations into all seizures are ongoing.
A full list of what was seized can be found below:
- approximately 11.66 kgs of herbal cannabis, with an estimated value of €233,000;
- 2,100 Tapentadol, Diazepam, Alprazolam and Zopiclone tablets, with an estimated value of €4,100;
- 238g of butane honey oil, with an estimated value of €4,800;
- various quantities of other illicit drugs, with a combined value of approximately €1,000;
- 205 counterfeit goods of assorted brands, with an estimated value of €79,000;
- 8,400 cigarettes of assorted brands, with an estimated value of €7,600, representing a potential loss to the Exchequer of approximately €6,000; and
- almost 210 litres of alcohol, with an estimated value of €2,600 representing a potential loss to the Exchequer of over €1,400.
