Oversized Classes Are Biggest Obstacle To Ireland's Schools Re-Opening

That's according to the INTO's Laois rep.

Our bloated pupil-teacher ratio is the biggest obstacle to schools re-opening on time. 

That is the view of the Laois representative of the Irish National Teachers' Organisation.

The average primary school class size in Ireland is 25 compared, to the EU average of 20, while we also have numerous super-sized classes of over 30 pupils.
