Over 3,000 people in the midlands are currently living with undiagnosed ADHD.
There are concerns about people self diagnosing themselves with ADHD on TikTok instead of going to a medical professional.
There's approximately 3,500 people in Laois, Westmeath and Offaly living with undiagnosed ADHD as the HSE is over run with people seeking referrals.
This is leading to people self-diagnosing instead of waiting for an assessment.
Others are also claiming to be ''coaches'' in the area without formal training.
