That's the view of Offaly councillor Eamon Dooley who says plans for roads, broadband and grid infrastructure should be fast-tracked to ensure they are completed within the timeframe to receive financing.
Under the Next Generation EU Fund, projects have access to €47 million in grants - provided they are complete by 2023.
