Plaque To Honour Joe Drennan To Be Erected In Limerick

An online fundraiser raised €1,200 in funds for the plaque.

A plaque in honour of Joe Drennan is set to be erected in Limerick in the coming weeks near the site where he died.

The Camross man was a journalism student in the city and passed away in October 2023 following a hit and run incident.

An online fundraiser was set up for the plaque and raised €1,200.

Limerick Councillor Catherine Slattery says it was a way for the people of Limerick to help the Drennan family:
