Annabel Loughlin passed away in November 2018.
A proposed play centre will aim to preserve the memory of a Westmeath girl who died in an accident six years ago.
Annabel Loughlin passed away in November 2018.
Annabel's parents, Eileen and Enda, are seeking planning permission to construct an educational play centre in Knockdrin, Mullingar.
The facility would include sensory rooms, a coffee shop, a pet farm, an outdoor play area, an astroturf area, and a fairy walk.
It would also be named Annabel's Adventure Land, in memory of their daughter.
The planning application says the facility will aim to provide children with a wide range of "learning through play" activities, and will be a one-of-a-kind amenity.
It's hoped the project will be able to avail of EU Just Transition Funding, if planning permission is secured.
A decision from Westmeath County Council is due by the 16th of November.
